About Eliza
With her bubbly personality, iconic colourful hair and contagiously catchy tunes, Birmingham’s indie pop queen Eliza May stands out from the crowd. Using intricate harmonies and captivating melodies, Eliza’s unique vibe is refreshing the scene. 2023 saw Eliza release her highly anticipated EP “Candy Heart”. Taking inspiration from artists such as Paramore, Fickle Friends, Olivia Dean and The Wombats, this EP encompasses all the sugar sweet highs and sour lows you feel when truly falling in and out of love. Eliza has headlined Sofar Sounds, played big festivals like Y Not? Festival, Brighton Pride and LeeStock Festival, has opened up the main stage at Pub in the Park and supported huge artists such as Kate Nash, Gabrielle, Tiffany and Reverend and the Makers making the last two years her best to date. This year, Eliza and her band have been in the studio recording their best songs so far for their third EP which is due for release later this year. With support from blogs/stations across the UK including BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, GMTF Radio, King City Online and Music Crowns and after recently being championed by DORK Magazine as their band app pick to play at this year's Truck Festival, you don’t want to miss out on Eliza’s delightfully addictive sound and positively radiant energy in 2024.
